What is inside
Cross-Site Login links two of your Brilliant Directories sites. A member signed in on one opens the other from their account menu and arrives signed in, on their own account there. You link the sites from the plugin's page in your BD admin with the other site's API key, choose which members can cross and on which plan new accounts may be created, and see every linked member in Settings. One license covers 2 sites.
Sign in onceA member signed in on one of your sites opens a linked site from their account menu and arrives signed in, on their own account there.
Confirm once, then straight inWhen the member already has an account on the other site, they confirm it is theirs one time with that site's password. Every visit after that goes straight in.
Accounts with another emailA member whose account on the other site uses a different email claims it with that site's email and password, and the two accounts stay paired.
New accounts only where you allow themA member with no account on the other site can create one only on the membership plan you choose and within your member limit. Otherwise a clear page says why.
Sign out of bothSigning out on one site signs the member out of the linked sites too. You can turn this off.
Your sites, your rulesChoose which plans see the way to the linked site, the words of that link, and whether new members get a welcome email.
Linked membersSettings lists every member linked between your sites: who, how they were linked and when.
Safe by designEach crossing uses a one-time pass that lives 60 seconds, signed with a secret only your linked sites share. Your API key is used once to link the sites and is never stored.

How many sites does one license cover?

How do I add a site?
From your account link: type the site's address and we email you its install link. Need more than two sites? Contact us.
Does a member need the same email on both sites?
No. A member whose account on the other site uses another email claims it once with that site's email and password.
What happens if I uninstall it from one site?
That site stops crossing and its place in your package is free again. Your members and their accounts stay as they are on every site.
Is it a subscription?
No. One payment of $4.99 for two sites, with updates included.
